I appreciate the reviews "Ami's Courage" has received. It's so encouraging to hear positive feedback. Even if the feedback was negative, I'd appreciate it. The older I get the move I appreciate any constructive criticism. The reviews, however, have all been positive. I'd like to share one with you. Oh, my goodness, this story is definitely a page-turner that will have you on the edge of your seat, spine-tingling chills go down your body, and your heart is beating in your throat as it unfolds near the end. The story is a mystery thriller with a great cast of characters and very intense situations.

Ami and Jay have been together for more than ten years, they are best friends, lovers and Jay wants to marry Ami and has asked her several times, but she always has an excuse. Jay is a sweet man, great lover, and is very caring of her feelings. Ami comes to the reality that she needs more, she is a pleaser and tries to make everyone in her life happy, from her family to her friends to her employer. The problem is, Ami is so busy pleasing everyone else, she feels she is missing out, and when she comes to the realization that she needs dominance and discipline in her life from Jay, how will she approach him with her needs?

The plot will have Ami taking a weekend get away to contemplate her relationship and future with Jay. There is no doubt that they love each other, but Ami has a desire for more from Jay, and how can she approach him about it? Jay knows something is going on with Ami, and when she opens up and explains her desires, he is shocked and tells her he must give it a good deal of thought. Michael is their friend, he and Jay attend the same gym, work out together, and talk, but when Jay tells him about what Ami wants, he warns him not to do it. Michael places a wedge of deceit between Ami and Jay until they separate. What will it take for them to work this out and get back on track? Ami will find herself in a life and death situation in the site of a serial killer. Will Ami be rescued before it is too late?

The story takes the reader on a journey of self-discovery, honesty, and the dialog of being open and honest in a relationship. Research and talking it out is a key factor for any couple in adding spice to their relationship, whether it is role-playing spanking or adding domestic discipline. The most critical issues are open communication and making sure it is safe, sane and consensual.

Equal Sequel

Yes. It's begun. I have written the first two chapters of the sequel to Ami's Courage. Having seen the cover and developed these characters I really do love them. They are both sweet with a twist of complicated. 

I'm not sure where I want to take them now but even if I knew I wouldn't reveal that. No spoilers allowed!! I would, however, love to hear what you think.

What do you think of Ami and Jay in this first book? (remember, no spoilers!!)

Did they feel real to you? 

I can't wait to see where they go from here. I thought I knew in the first book where it was going but it took twists and turns that weren't in my outline. This time around I don't even have an outline. 

I will tell you this..... there will be more spanking in book two so those of you who love a good spanking scene will definitely want to read book two. 

I can't wait until my time is freed up so that I can devote my time to writing this book. Having a day job can be an inconvenience. LOL Wait. Here's a thought!! Get people to buy my book and I will be able to quit my job and write full time. Now, there's a dream!!! That would be awesome!!
